Self Help Dry House
|
The Self Help Dry House programme was established in the autumn of 2009 to provide accomodation and support to individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
The ethos of dry accomodation and intense support works well and statistically 40% our our clients achieve and maintain a longer term sobriety.
The programme provides clients with safe accomodation, a supportive atmosphere, and daily group sessions with a counsellor from 09.30am to 15.30 daily.
In addition, further enrichment activities are offered to group session members, such as away days, group meals, volunteer activities such as tending the gardens, fundraising activities, social events, voluntary work and social enterprise |
